The Business Forum had its monthly General Assembly meeting on January 24, 1996, at the Lakeview Club in Oakland. Twenty-three members were treated to an informative discussion on the design/build process by Rick Kuwnath, President of the Design/Build Institute and General Partner of Charles Pankow Builders. Did you know that 50% of all construction (public and private) projects is expected to be design/build by the year 2000?

Our next meeting is scheduled for February 21st at the World Trade Club in San Francisco. The topic of discussion will be Forensic Architecture and Engineering with a presentation by Ian Mackinaly, President of Ian Mackinlay Architecture.

Representatives from all member firms are invited to attend. Suggestions for future topics are also welcome.
