2006 SEAOC CONVENTION - VENDOR SOLICITATION
 

The Southern California Section of SEAOC will be hosting this year's "SEA Stars" Convention September 12 - 17, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach Hotel. 

We expect to attract over 500 structural engineers and construction industry professionals.  The tentative schedule for vendors is as follows:

This year we will only be able to accommodate a maximum of 57 industry exhibitors in primarily 8' x 10' booths in the main ballroom and foyer area adjacent to the area of the technical sessions.  In the ballroom, we will be providing tables for refreshments, coffee and cocktail hour socializing. 

By reserving your space now, your company will be able to indicate your preferred booth location and take advantage of a ten percent discount available to those firms that register AND pay for their booth before December 31, 2005.  Final booth determination will be made on a first-come, first-serve, paid basis.  

Enclosed is a layout of the area in the hotel we will be using.  Booth prices are varied depending upon location and range from $1,750 to $5,400 per booth.  To secure your reservation and/or to sponsor an event, please complete the confirmation form with credit card information and fax it to (562) 692-3425 or mail it with a check made to "2006 SEAOC Convention" to:

Please be sure to indicate your first, second, third and fourth choices for booth location. 

Booth prices include booth pipe and draping, one 6' table, two folding chairs, electrical service, and two basic Convention Registrations for attendance at Technical Sessions which includes lunch tickets for Thursday and Friday and complimentary morning and afternoon hospitality.  When you receive the registration package, you may sign up for any of the optional social and sporting events. 

Room reservations will need to be made by you directly with the hotel.  You will be eligible for the special lower room rates available to convention attendees by mentioning the SEAOC Convention.  The hotel reservation phone number is: 562-491-1234.

We are allowing vendors the option to send up to three (3) personalized email messages to all attendees for just $250.  This tool gives you the opportunity to let convention attendees know where your booth is and information about any specials that you may be offering before the convention.  You may also wish to reserve one email to send to the attendees soon after the convention as a way to thank them for stopping by your booth.  If you elect to participate in this optional service, we will provide you with a user ID and password for you to automatically email all the attendees that have registered up to the date you wish to send your email.  Messages need to be limited to 200 words or less and attachments to the emails are not allowed.  SEAOC reserves the right to cancel your email subscription at any time, with no refund, if it judges that your message is not in good taste or if quality is not maintained.
